Disembarking from the steamboat Guy Hunter. Cooper County, Missouri. Probably built in the 1870s. Photographer and date unknown. Louis Moehle, a German immigrant, came to Cooper County in 1867 and built a saw mill on the Lamine river, where he also engaged in boat building with his son, Gustav. Gustav and his sons built boats at Arrow Rock, including the Guy Hunter, the Minna, the Nadine, the Laura and the gasoline powered Roy L.
